Vegan Chili Cook-Off proceeds to benefit Our Collective Heart, a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing mind-body-soul health and living a life of connection, fostering liberation through compassion for all beings.

Taste Ticket

Pre-purchase your ticket for $10. PLEASE BRING A SCREENSHOT OR PAPER COPY OF YOUR RECEIPT TO EVENT OR NAME/EMAIL YOU PURCHASED TICKET UNDER.

Tickets will be available to purchase the day of event for $15. We recommend pre-purchasing to guarantee your chili tasting spot.

Bring on the vegan chili!!! Anyone may enter. This contest is for ALL community cooks, chefs, home kitchen gurus, and anyone who loves making and sharing delicious plant-fueled chili. Entry fee is $18.

Contest Rules

CHILI MUST BE FREE OF ANY AND ALL ANIMAL PRODUCTS.
Please bring a minimum of two gallons (or more) of fully cooked VEGAN CHILI at serving temperature. Note: There is no electricity on site.
Each contestant MUST submit a copy of their chili ingredients, including any known allergens, no later than June 1 to connect@cincyvegfest.com.
Please be on-site by 2:15 pm and ready to serve by 2:30 pm on Saturday, June 13, 2026. Judges and VegFest VIP taste at 2:30 pm. VegFest attendees start tasting at 3:00 pm.
Entrants will be provided with a numbered spot.
Spoons, tasting cups, napkins, and gloves are provided.
Please bring a small ladle to serve your chili.
Take down may not begin until after winners are announced at 5:00 pm.

Vegan Chili Cook-Off judging is rated in six different categories from 1-5. Those categories include: aesthetic, aroma, mouthfeel, taste, savoriness (umami), and richness or feel of awe and wonder (kokumi).
