Our 200-hour self-paced training includes video lessons, guided practices, reading materials, and inspiration to grow your practice or become a certified teacher. We use a holistic approach based on the book, World Peace Yoga: Yoga for People Who Breathe.

What is a 200 hour yoga teacher training?

This level of training is the foundational program and minimum hours required to become a certified yoga teacher. We recommend this as a base course to further study or an additional course to enhance teaching for those that have already completed another training program.

How long do I have to complete the training?

You can complete this program at your own pace, giving you flexibility to study on your schedule with lifetime access to all materials.

Do I need to be advanced in yoga to join?

No. This training is suitable for all levels. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced practitioner looking to deepen your yoga journey, you’ll find immense value in this training.

Am I fully prepared to teach upon completion of the program?

Most completing certification are at the beginning stages of both creating a steady personal practice, developing teaching skills, and inculcating the vast amount of new information and experiences that are presented in this foundational program. It is with this in mind that we recommend additional study to continue along your teaching journey. We recommend connecting with World Peace Yoga to support you with additional training to fully integrate your yoga teaching. In addition, you get as much out of the training as you put into it. We encourage students, to be present with the course content as well as take classes and experience a variety of teachers while in training.

What certification do I receive upon completion?

Upon completing the Compassion for All Yoga Teacher Training, you will receive a 200-hour CYT certification, recognized worldwide. This credential allows you to teach in studios, online platforms, or even start your own yoga workshops. You may also take this course for personal growth to receive a certificate marking a significant milestone in your spiritual journey.

What is Yoga Alliance and what does RYT mean?

Yoga Alliance is a registrar. They recognize teachers on their website as “registered” or “RYT” for Registered Yoga Teacher. Yoga Alliance does not certify, accredit, or validate yoga teachers or yoga schools. For those interested in receiving a RYT-200, please email training@worldpeaceyoga.com. Please note there is an additional tuition expense of $150.

Do I have to be vegetarian or vegan to participate in this course?

No, while the benefits of a plant-based lifestyle are shared in the course of the program, it is not required to be vegetarian/vegan to participate in or graduate from this program.

Our Collective Heart is located in Cincinnati, Ohio and serves the Greater Cincinnati area and beyond with local and online classes, workshops, and training courses.

What if I live outside Cincinnati?
